Passed away peacefully on December 13, 2022, aged 95. Tony was born in Cleveland, Ohio. Upon graduating from Garfield high school, he enlisted in the US Marine Corp and fought in the battle of Okinawa. After the war, he began working in the family construction business. Tony loved the challenge of land development, but the cold weather of Cleveland could not compete with the sunny weather of Southern California and in 1965, the Picozzi family moved to the west coast. Tony began a new career as a lobbyist, representing builders and labor unions and had many great experiences in Washington. Upon retirement, Tony enjoyed lunches with his friends, traveling with his wife, spending time with his family and above all, his 48 year friendship with Bill W. Tony is predeceased by his wife of 65 years, Phyllis, who he met and fell in love with in kindergarten, his two children, Edward Picozzi Esq., Michelle Vincent, JD. and his beloved granddaughter, Nicole Vincent. Tony will be remembered for his engaging personality, quick wit and great storytelling. Tony will be dearly missed by all who knew him. In accordance with Tony’s wishes, there will be no funeral services.
