Merle Marie Wright

12/29/28 - 11/8/22 Merle Marie Wright passed away in Palm Desert, Ca. at the age of 93. Merle was born in Los Angeles the third child born to Arthur and Merle Daggett Wright joining sister Jeanne Wright Carlson and brother Darrell Wright. She attended schools in Los Angeles graduating from USC in 1951 where she was active in the Tri Delta sorority. Merle enjoyed golfing, RVing, playing cards and traveled extensively especially enjoying time in Hawaii. Merle was predeceased by parents Arthur and Merle Wright, brother Darrell, sister Jeanne. She is survived by sister-in-law Patty Wright, nephews Jeff Wright (Ellie), Brad Wright (Carol), three great nieces, three great nephews, six great great nephews, and three great great nieces. The family appreciates the care and support of her physicians and friends and especially Jocelyn Mateo who gave Merle exceptional care for the last year and a half. She will be missed by friends and family. A Celebration of Life will be at a future date.
